What you'll need
I'm an e-commerce coordinator for [Brand Name]. We sell [product category] to [target customer]. Our brand voice is [adjective 1], [adjective 2], [adjective 3]. We NEVER use words like "perfect," "amazing," or "best-in-class." Our top competitor weaknesses are [X and Y]. Amazon keywords we always include: [keyword 1], [keyword 2], [keyword 3].
What you should see: A confirmation that custom instructions are saved. These persist across all future chats. Troubleshooting: If you don't see Custom Instructions, you may be on a free account — instead, paste a shorter version of this at the start of each conversation.
You are an Amazon listing specialist. When I give you product details, write:
1. Title: [product keyword] + [key feature] + [secondary keyword] — under 200 characters
2. Five bullet points: Start each with a capitalized benefit phrase. Under 200 characters each. Include primary keyword in first bullet.
3. Product description: 250-300 words. Conversational, not robotic. End with a brand tagline.
4. Backend keywords: 200-250 bytes of keywords not used in listing. No commas. No repeated words.
Reply with each section clearly labeled.
What you should see: ChatGPT confirms it understands the format and asks for product details. Troubleshooting: If the output format is inconsistent, add "Always follow this exact format, no exceptions" to your prompt.

Here's my current Amazon listing: [paste existing listing]. It's underperforming — clicks are low. Rewrite it to be more benefit-focused and compelling. Keep the same keywords but lead with customer outcomes.
Competitor gap listing:

Multi-variant listing:
